 | I´m wondering if sore throat issues are making PS consider some substitutions for slower (or lower-note) songs to give his vocal chords a tiny break. |

 | I think it´s impossible too, and I didn´t sit when I couldn´t. Just out of curiousity, where were you sitting? I found that when I stood, it caused a chain reaction, and everyone around me stood! |

 | Maybe something with a lengthy instrumental to give more of the band members solos while giving his voice a rest. He mentioned in one interview how wonderful Andy Snitzer is on the sax. Would be a good showcase opportunity (in addition to Still Crazy). |

 | That´s so weird, I was in 104, and almost everyone around me was standing and enjoying themselves. |

 | I diddnt get up until me and julio. at that time I was hit with m&ms and told to sit down...
I paid my Money too. If I want to dance I should be allowed.

 | This is where I also have a problem, too, Kronsk. We both paid just as much money as everyone else for our seats, so why shouldn´t we be able to stand and dance when we feel it is appropriate.
I didn´t have any problems at Paul´s show, but I have had problems in the past with this. For instance, I went to a Tom Petty show and had lawn seats, and before the concert half the lawn was standing, and these two hoity-toity people in their lawn chairs were yelling at my Mom and I to sit down. Needless to say, when the concert started, they were the only ones sitting, so they stood up, too. Way to be hypocritical.
I just don´t understand why people feel the need to always complain about something at concerts. Everybody pays good money for their seats, and I know for a fact that the artists up on stage appreciate it more when they see people out in the crowd who are enjoying the show. They put in so much work, and I feel like it´s disrespectful to them if you have to sit in your chair the whole time because someone behind you isn´t happy with it. The artist is up on stage playing for you, it´s nice to get up and get into the music, it works both ways!
I, for one, go to concerts to enjoy myself and the music, and not to sit still in my chair the whole time like I´m being punished. |

 | I shouldnt have to kick the crap out of some DORK ...
Is this a Paul Simon concert you were at or a Rave/Punk rock or whatever the modern equilivent of violent rock concerts are.?
though I have to agree that standing at a concert esp Pauls is better. Maybe there shouldn´t be any sitting or else have it at the back .. but then maybe they´re needed because of the age profile of the fans:-) |

 | I agree with Scaaty in that maybe they should have different sections for sitting and standing. It would solve a lot of problems. |
