Hey, maybe that´s what Paul Simon means by "SURPRISE!"
Can you imagine the conversation with the band members after the show that night? "Yeah, I decided I´d Surprise you with a different encore at each show. Now get some sleep. Goodnight." Or, seeing as how he´s a man who enjoys speaking just a few, well-chosen words, maybe he just said, "Surprise!"
Makes you laugh at all the reports about how he doesn´t like even one note to be sounded that isn´t previously rehearsed. You have to Love the spontanaeity! |

 | Bodo, if you are in Cuba I hope you will go to Santiago de Cuba ; a so great place for music. I have great souvenir of that, a long time ago, in ´92 ; only 10 or 20 tourists all around the island. We were 10 french walking all around the island (Cienfuegos or Pinar del Rio are wonderful)and 10 or 15 canandian on the beach of Varadero. Enjoy the music ! |
