 | I went to the third show in Milwaukee and while not sold out there was a very large crowd. The people around me sure liked the new songs. The young kid next to my daughter knew all the words to all of them (and everything else). |

 | It has been my experience that more and more young people are attending older artists concerts. I am only 21, but I have seen Paul once by himself, and twice with Simon and Garfunkel. All three times I was surprised at the number of young people in the crowd. Even at the Stones, Billy Joel, and Neil Diamond there were a lot of young people there. All of my friends are slowly becoming fans of older music as well. I think it just goes to show that today´s music can never rise to the level of "Graceland" or "Rhymin Simon". I´m looking forward to seeing Paul on July 12 and 16th...both times I will be driving over 3 hours to see him, but its worth it. |

 | I will be driving 10-11 hours to see Paul. Reading what everyone writes make me so excited I can hardly wait. This will be my first concert. Wow! I know it will be worth it. |

 | It is no Surprise and no shame that the shows are not sold out completely. The second leg of S&G`s US-tour wasn`t sold out either.
In 1997 Simon said he would never tour again.
In fact since 1999 he was on tour as often as never during his Solo-career.
So he was right singing "In August 1993 I was wrong, and I could be wrong again". He should be wrong more often...

 | Yes I went to see Paul Simon in 1991 thinking he would never tour again because it was billed as a bit of a greatest hits tour. Then he did not visit the UK until 2000 - a nine year gap.
Then he was back in 2002, 2004, 2006, and toured the US in 1999, 2003. Never say never!
Anyway - when people are talking about big audiences - what sort of size venues is he playing for this tour? Last time I went to a solo show was 2002 and it was only 4500 but it was fully sold out within a couple of days. He probably could have filed a 12,000 seater venue at that point. It made all the papers the next day. |

 | Marcus Amphitheater has 23,000 seats. I just called them. I´m not great at estimating but I would guess there were around 20,000 there including all the folks on the grass. Steve, what would you guess? |

 | Fairly big venues then! I hope you didn´t make the call especially to answer my post. I hope he plays our Arenas in the UK rather than smaller theatres and halls. |

Well it was just a casual musing - didn´t expect anyone to make a phone call just to answer my question. Appreciate it though, if you did! |
