I responded about 5 minutes after you typed, but saw my timeframe is off. Paul Simon should be on in about 1 1/2 hour from now. Look and see if there is another showing of D. Letterman in about one and a half hours, whatever time you are on. Otherwise, does your guide give you info on who the guests are. |

| Paul´s performance could have also been taped anywhere...anytime...never showed him with Letterman.....Maybe from a morning show he was on awhile back...´Good Morning America´...I recognize the same outfit he was wearing...very clever to make it seem that he was actually on the Letterman show....... |

| When they showed Paul in between commercials they showed the crowd and the band with Paul and then just before they went to the final commercial David Letterman was walking over to shake Paul´s hand after the performance. |

| I thought he looked and sounded good. I wish he had talked with Letterman,though. At one point he looked like he was going to burst out laughing. I wondered if David was trying to make him laugh. |

| I guess that makes sense. I was wondering why he would have 2 show in Ohio, fly back 1 night to New York for a solo song, no interview, at 12:30 a.m. New York time, then be back in Ohio for a show that night. Now I guess I know. I Love the interviews. No disrespect to the song, but was very disappointed that the entire appearance on Letterman´s show was 5 minutes. I kept looking at the clock and giving wise words to the tv set, like, "Stop telling jokes and get to Paul Simon. There are so many questions I want you to ask him." Actually, I don´t really care about the questions. I just like hearing Paul Simon talk. He could talk about cartoon characters and I´d be intrigued. |

Paul Simon had 2 concerts in Ohio, performance on David Letterman´s show (pre-taped, I guess, in New York), then a performance in Wisconsin -- not back in Ohio. |
