I haven´t even answered that one. Why should he...personally like Paul doing his own writing, rather than having the influence of another.

But hey..that´s just me :-D

me, me, me!

I´ve written over 200 hundred songs, but none of them are very good, so maybe he could help me out!

I can dream, can´t I! ;-)

It´s difficult to decide really. I guess it depends on whether he were to collaborate with someone similar to his only style, or someone who´s quite different and would take him in a different direction (this seems to be the preferred direction for Paul, with Stimela, Brian Eno etc..).

Someone like Lou Reed would be interesting, as they both grew up in the same area, are both intellectual and intelligent writers, but write about different sort of issues and seem to view things slightly differently, so it could be interesting.

As long as it´s better than Lou´s acting in One Trick Pony! ;-)

Not really a co author but Paul mentioned Yeats in one of his interviews - Hushaby baby in wartime prayers came from Yeats. A lot of his poetry has been well adapted to songs - Paul could work on some others. Also he is a big fan of seamus heaney a nobel prize winner like derek Walcott now that would be some combination!

I would be interested to see how a collaboration with Janis Ian would work out.

Also out of interest which poem from Yeats, Scaaty?

Funny you should say that Kronsk, Paul already worked with that group, if you buy his Graceland album there´s a song on there called "Homeless" which was co-written by Paul and the group.

I know I want more of that...

How about we mix Stewart Copeland style of drumming with Steves and see what paul can come up with

Yes, I think their voices would really fitt well together.

I Love the new album from Allen and Elvis, The River In Reverse.

Maybe a very nice collaboration these 3 very good singer/songwriters.

My ideal would be to have Simon collaborate with Daniel Lanois to produce his next (and last ?) album.

Man ! Almost every album this man touches turns into gold ! A few examples ?

- So/US, Peter Gabriel
- Time Out of Mind, Bob Dylan
- Wrecking Ball, Emmylou Harris
- Atchung Baby, U2...etc.

Also, an acoustic album might be a great idea. The main audience will like it, reviewers will say ´retun to sources for Simon´, that kind of crap...

But seriously, call Daniel Paul !
