 | honestly, I hate (because I don´t understand why he does it) when he sings lines of the song in a different order, or repeating a word and skip a chourus or a bridge or cutting the lyrics just to have some rest or don´t feel so boring.. grr.. |

 | Maybe you should only listen to the studio albums then..... |

 | I would suggest that too.
And why do you listen to that awfull video??? This is absolute an horrible quality - I am sure the new version of BITB sounds great - how can you judge it by a video made with a cellphone?!?!? |

 | Couldn´t agree more Bodo...And haven´t we already discussed this one to death?
I personally have no problem with Paul changing his songs, it is, after all. his music and not ours. He´s the one who sweats over it until he´s happy with it, not us, and it is he who sings it from one concert to another and at some point starts getting bored with the arrangement, not us.
The changes keeps the songs fresh to both ourselves and Paul. |

 | I think we discussed this one to death because people have differnt opinions on it....
For me I have a sound that I Love enough to call my favorite and I cant hear that anymore. Thats all. Its frustrating... I dont know why a guy would Fine tune his sound over the years to Something so original a cool(obviously we all love it). And then arbitrarily throw it in the can and start over at 65. DOnt you get it??? Where running out of time here hes not getting any younger and Im not gonna get to hear my favorite anymore... |

 | ..and in fact, these different versions are the only reason why someone should collect bootlegs.
So I am happy to get a new version of BITB...a song which he played the same way now since 20 years. |

 | Do you like all his albums Kronsk? They are all different, that´s what I like most about Paul. He keeps searching for new musical ways to express himself. And I´m also glad he changes his songs, makes it much more interesting to go to a concert to hear new versions then over and over again the same song.
Instead of demanding we should enjoy his musik, we are very lucky he has made such good musik for so long. And we have to deal with the fact that someday he will make no longer musik, hopefully not soon, but then we have still his albums to listen to...and the bootlegs ofcourse...;-)

 | I don´t get the problem. If someone does not like the changes that´s o.k. and Nobody is forced to listen to new versions, if he don´t like them. Why are you running out of time? - the versions that you like will be there as long as you can play your CDs.
I also like to hear new versions of songs that I know by heart and sometimes I like what comes out and sometimes I don´t.
So the only thing that might happen is, that you attend a concert and you don´t hear the version that you prefer. But attending concerts unfortunately don´t happen all the time.
So you are free to play for yourself what you like and Paul is free to play it the way he likes it. Perfect!

 | Lets put it this way If Paul was playing 2 shows..and you could only go to one. Would you go to this new one. Or would you see his best... 10 piece percussion, horns, ROTs, etc... Be honest... |

 | I would go to this new one, to hear how it sounds because I can´t judge how it sounds unless I heard it live myself. I don´t want to live in the past, but try new things.

 | Honestly Kronsk , I don´t like it very much.
I´m always interested to hear new versions of songs that I´m used to hear in CD. Sometimes I have been very pleasantly surprised.
But not with this version of boy in the bubble. |
