I´ve just been watching a clip from the Grammys in 1975, and it´s really funny, don´t you think? Both Paul and John (and Andy Williams) really send it up and I thought their cameraderie really shines through.

Art´s a bit moody though, don´t you think? They´re all winding each other up in a funny way, but Art seems to be a bit grumpy about it. Great clip though!

Yeh I noticed that Tim...As they finished John said, in general, "You´re so serious!" and Art replied, as they were walking away, "It is serious."....
Oooooh, hand bags at ten paces
sir!

And Art was not vera happy that John asked how Linda was doing - just after their divorce...

Ah! That makes a bit more sense. I thought he was trying to refer to him as Paul Mccartney (as is that Linda).

I´m easily confused ;-

I actually thought so too giving the introductory joking around with that theme. And I´m not sure that´s not what John did. Asking Art about his newly divorced ex-wife just seems a bit too cruel. Anyway, Art certainly seemed to misunderstand, if that was the case.

To be fair I thought Art aquitted himself very well. Pauls rather belittling "I thought I told you to wait in the car" was countered by a quick...."still writing Paul?". Of course Pauls response of "no, I´m trying my hand at a little acting..." was also sharp.

It is very clear to see at this point that they really didn´t enjoy each other´s company in the mid 70´s.

Paul does seem a little arrogant in this clip however. A little too superior for my liking. That is of cousre based soley on the two or three minutes of this clip however, and not on anything else.

John Lennon is a git. He always was. Talented for sure. But very base and not particularly clever. Sure he was talented musicly, but the man could hardly read or write. He was the Wayne Rooney of the music world.

Hey hey. Enough from me.

And don´t you think it´s harsh that Paul laughs after Art doesn´t answer on John´s question about Linda?

Hilarious - but the best line has to be ´I thought I told you to wait in the car´

Such a quick response and so clever on so many levels.
