I saw Paul Simon on British TV recently, and he has decided to stop screwing with his hair, and he looked relaxed and content, but also suddenly he looks his age ` as a result the wisdom of some of his writing sits with him in a better light. It`s easier to give a man credit for genius when he looks older.

Eh...Pete Townshend? Sorry it´s not very clear who this is of where it´s from.

Could you give a little more info Jimmie?

I still don´t think he looks his age though. I saw a guy this weekend gone, at a Jazz festival. He was around 60, he moved and looked like a guy of 70. There are plenty of younger guys, than Paul, who are bolding and grey.

He looked young, fit, and happy at the New Orleans Jazz Fest.

I´m in his age group (65 last month) and I think he looks like most of us.

Townshend also enlisted the services of bass player Pino Palladino, late of Pauls Surprise album, to play at this gig over the weekend. Both obviously know a good musician when they hear one.

Still don´t think Paul looks 64+, especially when smilling and wearing his baseball cap.

Pino was the bassplayer for the Who on their 2002 tour and in 2004.

He still has got to turn up the volume though ;-)

Sorry? Who has to turn up the volumn? Pino or Paul?

If you meant Paul and was refering to his age and hearing you have that wrong.

Not too long ago there was a terrible rumour, many of us here will remember this, that pPauls hearing was failing and he was going deaf.

It turned out to be phil Collins and we read an interview with Paul where he mentioned a recent health examination where they said his hearing was exceptional.
