 | If you have a list of the concerts he did in 64/65 that would be great. I never found anything. Even the tours in 67/68/69 are incomplete. |

 | Bodo, following my meeting with Georges Chatelain, we know that Paul performed (with Georges) in T.E.P. (Theatre de l´Est Parisien) in Paris in 1965 ! I saw pictures when I met Goerges. |

 | Hi, Bodo. It would be great to get as complete a list as possible on the 64/65 PS venues to actually map his journey from the first time he visited England, through the folk club circuit and any other European dates or travelling he did during this period. This period of Paul´s career has always fascinated me.We do have the names of some clubs and pubs at which he played or stayed on this tour which are covered in Victoria Kingston´s biography. There are, however many blank periods. There must be some records of the order of this tour.Did he play at the Troubador or visit it?Where did the BBC recordings and the Songbook fit into all this? The link-up again with Garfunkel? The train journeys he would have taken? The houses he stayed at?The Al Stewart connection?
Basics we do have...Warrington, Widnes, Brentwood Essex, Bexhill-on-sea, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Bolton, the Long john Baldry outburst, London recording sessions, Songbook recording session,BBC recordings with Art, when were all these done? When exactly did Paul first land in England? When did he leave?Which performers did he learn his Travis Picking guitar technique from? Where did he go to watch these performers?Who were they? How did he come to produce Jackson C. Frank´s album?I ask a lot but then there is a lot to be answered here I feel. |

 | I also find this period very interesting - think the reason is that we do not know about that time and that makes us more curious.
...and there is still that bootleg from the UK which went to Japan for ~1000 $. We will maybe never hear the songs on this one.
I once was contacted by the person who sold that bootleg, but he was very shy to say anything. All he said that he als made a copy, but would never give it away (part of the deal)

 | Yes, Bodo. This period is very fascinating. It was before real fame and fortune and was the period where he "learned the craft of performing", as he said in the Wogan television interview in August 1986.This missing bootleg, Bodo....is it part of the northern line?I wonder if the person with the copy or the Japanese buyer could be contacted again and persuaded to share this with genuine fans.Surely there must be an outlet from somewhere as in the case of all the other boots from the 60s!This boot is now the second PS/S&G item that we know is out there and can´t get hold of....the second being the 1966 Granada Television Simon and Garfunkel concert directed by John Shepherd.Whilst we are on this subject are there any other known bits and pieces known to exist? |

 | Paul has recently said that he never busked despite what AG says in his concerts.

 | He blatently did, He just doesn´t want to show that he was desperate in those times, I saw Art last ngiht in concert and he said that they busked together in London (Trafalgur Square) and Paris with Kathy, She held the money box/hat/etc while they played songs.
I belive Art on this one. |

 | There was no way to contact him Bing. This person was only the seller, and he did not tell me the name of the buyer.
They keep it very secret..and i don´t know exactly why. The sound quality is IMO very bad, so you they wont get a lot of money when selling this later. |

 | Have done some digging...don´t know if this is accurate or of any use.
The sellers name was Bob Brooks and the e-bay name of the buyer was garnigami. It´s possible that his real name was Yasuhiro and there is a mention of someone called Yasuhiro Nakagami on the FAQ. According to amps Bradford Priddy tried to make contact with the buyer so presumably he knows more about who and where it went to.
As said before don´t know how accurate any of that is. |

 | That makes sense - garnigami and ´Nakagami´
google gives too many results when you search for ´Yasuhiro Nakagami´...maybe everyone in Japan is called so... and on AMPS he hasn´t posted since 1998. Even the website where he had registered his email back in that time does not exist anylonger.
I am not sure what he will do with that copy...hopefully he is still a PS fan and has not forgotten about it. Bob Brooks will not give away his own copy (that was part of the deal)
Anyway, I wouldn´t search too hard on that one, and also I would not pay money for it. The track we could hear sounds really bad.
