 | In another thread everyone is making their favourite Simon album with one track from each album.
So lets do the opposite. Which songs do you like the least of every album.
Mine would go like this:
1. Benedictus
2. Blessed
3. Patterns
4. Voices of Old people
5. Why don´t you write me
6. Hobos blues
7. Learn How To Fall
8. Silent Eyes
9. Nobody
10. Train In The Distance
11. Crazy Love vol 2
12. The rythm of the saints
13. The Vampires
14. Pigs, sheep and wolves
15. I don´t believe
So there you go.. my least favourites.
We can maybe all agree that Simon really hasn´t done any stinkers... or?

 | and THE VAMPIRES..uh *g* Ok, I think we can not make a poll with that...I never would have thought about these songs when it comes to worse ones. |

 | We could make a poll and vote for the worst songs... (multiple selections)
But first we need to find out the let´s say 25 worst songs.
BTW: TRAIN IN THE DISTANCE...how can you be a fan, how can you be a musician, how can you ..how can you...(just joking..but surprises me, there are worsers songs on H&B) |

 | some of these are very surprising...but I´m not going to go out and say that I disagree with people because everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinions...but in my honest opinion, this debate should start and end with "Cars Are Cars"....it makes me cringe everytime i even think that he released that song..even geniuses are entitled to make mistakes i guess.....It´s also interesting to compare these lists with the "pick your favorite song from each album" thread because there are certainly ones that people pick as their favorites and the same songs people are saying are their least favorite on the respective albums...I whole-heartedly agree with Bodo that Rhythm Of The Saints was a perfect album, although I´d have to probably put Further To Fly as my least favorite track... |

 | My selection:
1. Times are a´changin (I hope this counts; it isn´´t a Paul song of course. I like the original, but actually this version not)
2. We´ve Got A Groovy Thing Goin´
3. A Simple Desultory Philippic (Or How I Was Robert McNamara´d Into Submission)
4. Voices of Old people
5. Baby Driver
6. Hobos blues
7. Loves Me Like A Rock
8. Night Game
9. How The Heart Approaches What It Yearns
10. Cars Are Cars
11. That Was Your Mother
12. The rythm of the saints
13. Virgil
14. Pigs, sheep and wolves
15. I don´t believe
It was very difficult, but with a lot of pain sometimes I chose a song from each album |

 | Those choices are all BEST OF´s....you will need to change the name of the songwriter to find worst of´s!You are really pushing hard in coming up with lists...simply to have to choose a least favourite song from each album.Personally, there are only two songs that should have been saved for the archive boxed set and those are "voices of Old people" and "silent night".With the exception of those two I would be happy to have all your lists as CD compilations...I think they are great.I know it´s down to preference and taste, but Simon hasn´t done much,If any, "filling" on his solo albums.Wed Morn was partly covers but even those were all great versions.I would put your compilations on a CD and take it in the car wherever you go and you will have a different view of all those songs. If he toured and played your choices too it would be a superb concert! |

 | Just really surprised that "Night Game" turns up on several lists. That song is chilling. The sax solo to me is the epitome of the real New York. One of the most atmospheric songs Simon wrote.Again, I admit, it is personal reasons that make us see in a song what we see....just realised what I have said there...SEE IN A SONG WHAT WE SEE...not just hear or feel, but see. |

 | The song is superb just for the line..."if not in my lifetime in yours I am sure". |

 | Train In The Distance? No way!
Yeah, I hate the way it is on the album, but the demo of it (with just Paul and his guitar) is AMAZING -- the demo version of it happens to be one of my top 10 favourite Paul songs of all time. It´s a great song, just the way it was "officially" recorded totally ruined it. The demo has a much different -- and more suitable -- feel. |

 | (Don`t know the early S&G albums that well but I don`t like The Dangling Conversation (trying to hard) or whatever that One Is About the Kellogg`s Corn Flakes Floatin` in Bowl, ugh)
So Long, Frank Lloyd Right (he left because you were being pretentious and because Art sings like a 7 year Old girl - anybody else just not care for Garfunkel, AT ALL, or is it just me?)
Hobo`s Blues
Learn How To Fall (veryâ?¦ordinary)
Night Game (nothing good to say about this dragger)
Oh Marion (not a bad verse, really, but if I had to pick, this has a lousy chorus)
Cars Are Cars (the all-time worst ever, except maybe the Kellog`s Corn Flake one or Night Game)
Myth of Fingerprints (although the title is way cool, should have saved for a better song)
Rhythm Of The Saints (not bad, but doesn`t quite measure up to rest of The Masterpiece)
Time is An Ocean of Endless Tears (it is if you have to listen to this)
Quiet (it`s ok, but I NEVER play this one)
That`s Me (a bit self-involved, eh)
