 | Ok, 35$ is not that cheap ;-) A question, there is also a button to buy it for 0.99 $ - is that only for the preview in high quality? That sounds senseless. |

 | We could always through in a couple of $´s each and send them to Bodo for example. The Bodo orders the DVD and makes copies to the rest of us? Just a suggestion... :-) |

 | That would be a possible idea.
Another question Natalie Portman - isn´t that an actor? What is she doing on that show? (Cast list?) Is she anyway concerned with the Capemane project? Or is that part of another interview??
I hope that interview isn´t just 10 minutes long and then the rest is about Mrs. Portman |

 | I guess the difference in price is whether we can get the data on DVD media or just download it to your PC.
Unfortunately, the cheaper one (Google Video) is only available for those who have a US IP address and US billing address.

I´m not sure the difference in quality (the size of data). |

 | Hm
Ok, if you really get the full video in high quality for 99 Cent then I guess we will find someone here who will do that for us?
And then we can assist on how to download and capture that video.
I´m pretty sure that it is protected with DRM then... Not easy to make a copy for others.
(easiest way is to connect your DVD-recorder with your computer)
I think the quality is good enough for a interview (even the preview quality is fine, so a high quality stream should be enough) |

 | Ok, for me it is no problem to do that (even if it is only Region 1 DVD I will find a way to copy it)
But I am not sure how long this DVD is, is it 57min, or only 25 min with paul and 25 with Nathalie Portman.
We only have to find enough people who want that - and include postages to send the DVD then to everyone.
Uh.
I am even not sure if they send anything outside the USA...? |

 | I just tried
The DVD costs 50$ with shipping
It will take 6 weeks for the production, because the show was aired before 2004 (I guess they have to convert that into DVD format before)
It will take another 4-6 weeks for shipping, they only offer standard US mail (but I think thats faster...not 4-6 weeks, normaly everything from the USA arrives after 10-14 days)
So, If wee find 10 people then everyone has to pay around 5$ + ~5 Euros for shipping to your home, a DVD-R... and air padded post envelope... |

 | I talked back with Kazoo and had another idea - I could buy the DVD and instead of burning DVDs and sending them out to everyone I put the full DVD (vob files) onto this webserver and everyone who participated will get access to download it, and burns his DVD at home.
You only should be aware that you have to download around 2GB then. |
