I thought the interview was held in an bantering style which is very common here, most pub talk is like this which a lot of visitors esp US and English have difficulties with as it sounds as if the people really don´t like each other. Often takes amongst groups of friends who are very comfortable with each other.

Bonhg - Where did you hear about this? There´s nothing mentioned on Kens page for this week at all.

Ken Bruce
Simon will be on the Ken Bruce show, BBC Radio 2.Possibly next week, possibly doing "Tracks Of My Years".The slot in the show is around 11.40 each weekday for a week. Two songs chosen with dialogue in between.Simon´s choices will be interesting.I say possibly because Wogan said Simon "would be starring with Ken Bruce".

Haven´t heard the Steve Wright interview (is it up for download somewhere?) but I have it on good authority that just about the entire show is pre-recorded.

Apparently he sits in the studio playing minidiscs and the only live bits are the phone-ins.

Is he likely to tour England soon, with all these appearances on radio, tv etc..?

I feel really priviledged to have all these things at the moment! Thanks Paul!

It´s been great for us. I remeber when YTO came out we got nothing. There was hardly any promotion at all and definately no radion appearences.

I don´t think you can get it anymore. It only has Mon to Fri on there, and if you click on Tuesday, you get today´s date. The interview was on LAST Tuesday. Unless you know anywhere else you can find it Micky?

Keep a lookout for the tracks of my years on Ken Bruce´s show. They usually play them several weeks after they were recorded.I posted this immediately just to give advance notice that they MIGHT be featuring Simon."Thodora is Dozing" was the Jobim track chosen by Simon on a BBC programe called "MY TOP TEN"...a totally different thing to tracks of my years.I liked Theodora is dozing as a piece of music.
