Sorry for my ignorance..but except Elvis I do not know any of these musicians. Are they connected with Paul in any way? Hm, at a PS tribute I expected people like Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, LBM, Bob Dylan, Art Garfunkel... Jessy Dixon singers, Willie Nelson, James Taylor .... I think this is not really a tribute concert, even Paul will not be there :-) |

 | I disagree with Bodo. I think the line up is wonderful. Actually, the line up that you mention would lead me to a yawn because I would expect the same Old kind of things from these people.
Daniel Lanois is a famous producer (Peter Gabriel, U2, Dylan, Emmylou Harris) who has also put some beautiful records out. His album "Shine" is great ! If Simon does a record with him, chances that this album would be a big smash !
The rest of the line up is great, including hot names that are popular at the present time (no has been) and also a few strong names from Québec (Michel Rivard, Kevin Parent).
All in all, I am really looking forward attending this concert ! |

| Oh for goodness sake guys, quit with the morbid attutude. There are plenty of tributes things that happen all the time to various artists and that´s all it is, a salute to the great things they´ve given us over the years.
I think it´s wonderful that they´re doing this for him and I am very sure Paul is going to be very touched.
