Hi everyone,
don´t know if anyone´s ever heard of this guy or not, but I recently came across him on http://www.archive.org.(which is an amazing site btw)
Anyways, you might wonder how this relates to Paul Simon...but if you look at some of his shows he´s put on, he covers a bunch of Paul Simon songs, most notably, the majority of the Graceland album. He also does an interesting version of Late In The Evening. His shows are pretty much 100% acoustic, so its interesting to hear him implement the guitar for parts of songs that aren´t necessarily guitar parts. He makes up for his ok singing by making each song very heartfelt and soulful. He also covers some beatles tunes, van morrison, grateful dead, radiohead, led zeppelin, stevie wonder, etc.. Here´s one of his concerts from 2005 (that I´ve been rocking out to at work for the past week, you can just stream the audio)

You NEED to listen to his version of Queen Bee by Taj Mahal and his cover of Under African Skies. This is must listen territory. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I have been.

Kuno, glad to see you enjoyed it. String Cheese Incident does a cover of it as well that you can also find on Archive.org. I personally like BB´s version better, you can just tell he´s really into it and I really liked the stripped down version. My favorite part of it is when he sings "give her the wings to fly in harmony and she won´t bother you no more" and he really deepens his voice on "no more" and drags it out. Very heartfelt and the finger picking at the end is pretty impressive...
