 | Father and Daughter debuts at 31!
I´m sure Surprise will be top ten album this week in the UK. We´re a discerning nation of music lovers. Simon should relocate to London immediately! |

 | Indeed he should. He deserved something good to come out of this album. |

 | There is no country in the world with so many big pop-stars as England.
And no country where new and good music is discovered so fast.
Graceland shot to No. 1 in the UK within 3 weeks, many of its buyers did not or only vaguely remember who Paul Simon was.

 | Radio 2 is THE best station to listen to for new, up and coming bands and new releases by established performers. The station is at the cutting edge of music and very often has worldwide premiers of new songs.Regarding the format that the industry follows eg -Album, promotion, performance, tour it has it all, hence the decades Old Paul Simon material in the BBC archives relating to the release of past albums.Speaking of BBC archives, I wonder if the infamous Ann Nightingale/Paul Simon Old Grey Whistle test television interview will ever come to light from the mid 70s....I would like to see that again. |

 | Well, the interview was not in the mid-seventies, it was in 1980, only a few weeks ago. |
