Hey Bodo,

Since you´ve moved servers, ZoneAlarm causes this site to reload constantly when the main page is about 90% loaded, meaning I cannot access the site. Not sure if anyone out there knows why. Problem is solved when I disable ZoneAlarm.

Perhaps implementing a hardware based firewall would help? The proper configuration of a software based firewall is on a computer other than the one you are trying to protect. In other words, having a firewall loading on the very computer you want protected does not make sense to me. A simply Linksys, Netwgear, or other entry level firewall is fine for home and small business use.

I would recommend to forget about any software firewall... They are nothing worth. Just research a little bit on the net and you will find that opinion everywhere.

A rooter for 20$ will help more and does not cause any problems.

I am also not sure if that problem is really caused because of the new host.
I made some changes - including the ´Read Address´ frame on the bottom of this page.... this is a small java script writting the url of this window into the line on the main page.
Maybe ZoneAlarm or Norton or whatever has something against that kind of scripts... I can not test it.

What I realized is that with ZoneAlarm everything is very slow or either does not work (without a lot of work from my side) ...so I deleted that software.

Hi, I thought a little bit about the problem last night and have 1 suggestion -
Maybe your Zonealarm is so configured that you do not allow him to show the ´HTTP_REFERER´ field? (you erase it, it is blank?)
This could cause the preloading... I guess.
