Normal pics..don´t know why people upload pictures of a car or of a pet ...

it´s time waste but I have to delete them all (and they waste my time also)

i always thought that if i had two pets, like two cats or to fishes...i would call them simon and garfunkel.

maybe that explains why people upload pictures of their pet :o)

...and maybe there are some fools who call their car simon or garfunkel too *g*...

would be a nice name for a new car-model though....the new "mercedes garfunkel" *lol*

I have once read a book (a French one) where the name of the cat was Garfunkel (in fact, a stupid book and I have only bought it because of that ! LOL !)and when Garfunkel died, the little girl called her new cat Simon :-). If you want to read it Marie-No, the title of the book is "Des cornichons au chocolat" (I know, even the title is stupid ! )but I can´t remember the writer´s name.
And I have two cats but unfortunalely, they are she-cats so, Simon and Garfunkel didn´t fit at all ! LOL !
I have two cars too but in that case, my husband would take me directly to the hospital if I give their a name ! :-))

Nathalie.

I´ve read this book in my youth; it has been written by a young girl who had some problems with her parents and her best friend was a cat named Garfunkel. At the end of the story, Garfunkel was killed by a car (very sad, i cried, i cried...); but her mother, to make peace with her, gave her a little cat and told her to name it Simon...
It was not a stupid book...very charming...in my memory...

I have read it when I was much younger too :-) but I didn´t really like it. I remember some years after, they made a tv movie from that book and Alain Bashung was playing the dad.

LOL ...maybe his last roll in a movie ;-)

BTW: I never had the impression that Art was a very well known and good actor, did you have? The movies he made aren´t really famous IMO, but all the magazines now write that he had a successfull actor career after S&G break up...hm - Am I wrong?

To be honest, he was not bad at all in the Nichol´s movie "Carnal knowledge" (i´m not sure for the English tittle; in French: Ce plaisir qu´on dit charnel)
