 | So, is Outrageous already released as a single in the USA?
I find it a little bit curious that in Europe they release F&D as a single - this is the only song which does not fit to the rest of the album... so people who hear that song and think of buying the album then will maybe not like the sound of the rest. (you know, many people said that F&D is the only song from that album they like...) Thats kind of missleading marketing, isn´t it?

 | I had the same thoughts. But I can imagine that this is the most radio friendly song and it was rather sucessful in the U.S. on a minor scale. So this is most probably a commercial decition.
But I agree with you that it doesn´t fit to the rest of the album. The question is, if there are too many people who buy the album because of one song they like.
By the way, it seems, that Surprise has really been released in Germany today.

 | Its not that different to the rest of the album. I´m not convinced that people would have commented on it being different if it had not been released previously. |

 | IMO it is very different. It is the only song without any electronic soundwaves - and it is also the only song that has no bridge. It is the only simple verse/chorus song on that album.
While on all other songs you hear the clear influence of Brian Eno I can not hear that on F&D (how should I, it was written in summer 2002) |
