Paul Simon`s first week entries are:

Belgium No. 45
Denmark No. 13
Netherlands No. 22

These are the countries with the happy first owners of the album.

Yeah, 55 is really not good. I´m very happy to see it making it 13 here in Denmark. And that is with really no advertising at all. It has been reviewed in a couple on newspapers but apart from that I have heard nothing of it in the media here in Denmark. So 13 is really good, as is the 14 on Billboard. Especially if it doesn´t drop dramatically within the next few weeks.

Let´s hope it will peak in top 10, that would be very impressive for a non-mainstream album like this.

I guess the entry for the first week doesn`t say much, because it is rarely exactly a full week available before it.

And there are presale orders by dealers etc. Nobody can count the amount of copies still in the shops.

The next weeks will tell.

A high entry is certainly good to draw attention, also for airplay, but the truth comes later.

It was number 5 and now number 6 at Amazon.com in the U.S.

Yes it is number 5 or 6 in category "Rock" and No. 1 in "Pop" at Amazon.com.

But with partly the same competitors in one category above, in one behind Surprise.

Whatever that means...

Sorry lara, io, I think it is not in the Italian charts as it still is in no charts of any big European country.

Nevertheless, it is No. 83 in the European Top hundred albums.

It is No. 20 in Norway in it´s first week and No. 32 in Canada instead of 14.

Big means the number of inhabitants.

It is in no country`s chart where it is not released. That means, not in France, Spain, UK, Germany, Austria.

But if it is released and you can buy it in the shops in Italy since about 10 days, you could be right. Yesterday I just read the Italian album charts, it was not in, but maybe it showed the week before.
