 | .... my two cents... I know that Wartime Prayers is not the single and not the song Paul is pushing, but I really wish he had performed that instead. I think the US is longing for someone to voice their feelings at this this moment and this song would have been perfectly timed. Just my opinion.

 | Richard, I agree with you but is SNL the right forum for a song like that? |

 | You need a bittorrent client for downloading via bittorrent. Try bitttorrent.com for instance. There is a very nice FAQ on the dimeadozen site that will explain the whole deal to you. |

 | Sumit, I was wondering about the same thing. It is also unclear to me, from the technical point of view, whether this song can be easily performed live with the same mesmerizing grace as it is recorded on the album. |

 | Well the answer to that Angel would probably be no; the backing of the choir (Jessie Dixon Singers?) adds a lot to the song.
I am generally not in favour of performing songs like that in events like SNL or similar comedy based shows. Would seem inappropriate and weird. In this context, I´m surprised he played "How can you live in the north east" too... |

 | I finished downloading a few hours ago. It´s only the performance of the two songs. The reason it´s so big, is that it´s uncompressed HDTV quality. It´s an incredible picture quality, but yes, it seems to be a bit much for less than 10 mins of footage ;-)
I think the performances are quite good, though I have to say that these songs sound better on the album. Paul looks fine, IMO (remembering he´s 64 years Old!). |

 | I was hoping for "Wartime Prayers" as well. Especially with Al Gore as a guest on the show, I think the song would have had a great reception. However, PS is obviously pushing "Northwest" and "Outrageous" as they have been the selections at the New Orleans Jazz Fest and on "Good Morning, America." "Wartime Prayers" is gorgeous. |

 | How Can You Live In The North East is great but I really don´t think Outrageous works live. |

 | I agree with you Matthew.
I really feel sometimes that if, ONLY IF, Paul would not do his abstract interpretations of his studio recordings, would Outrageous or Wartime Prayers sound great.
I really struggle to like Paul´s live renditions of American Tune, Boy in the Bubble etc...they are such great songs. Ah well, he´s the boss. |

 | LOL...what a waste of space...
Yes, you are right - the performances are better on the album :-( From what I have heard from the Jazz festival I was not very pleased... why did he change these songs just after the release now? That does not make sense |
