Cant say if I like that... the sound quality is that bad that it sounds horrible first, but might be much better when you are at the show... the audience seems not to be that amused, except the one guy just right before the camera...

Well, it´s Paul´s song at the end of the day, so how he performs it is up to him. I´m more concerned when others mess them up as they have not right to do so.

And lets´ face it, it can probably get very boring performing a song exactly the same, everytime.

Paul´s performance is fine but why oh why would anyone want to video the back of people´s heads, a line of railings and a few overweight policemen´s backsides??

I definitely do not like these new versions !
But maybe that´s just me, I also don´t like Kodachrome as it was performed on the YTO-tour..

Paul mostly does a great job by rearranging some of his tunes, I like the different versions of SOS or BOTW he did perform over the years for example, but I definitely do not like the new Graceland stuff ! I hope he won´t play these songs the new way on his upcoming tour...

Well, I think this will be the way they do it Kuno... but maybe the Jazz festival was also a little bit too early and the band is still rehearsing...and bringin up new ideas to these songs.
The percussion is really missing... a lot of his songs can not be played without a percussion set, so they have to be changed.

I wonder how Crazy Love Vol. 2 sounded... (and if it really was Crazy Love - Barbara/Kapeman wrote that he openend with that song, and in the reviews I now can read by another fan that the song was Gumboots and not Crazy Love Vol.2 ... I tend to believe Barbara because I knew her as a really long time fan. )

BTW - Kodachrome was also not my favourite on the YTO tour...but it was a nice way to bring all the percussion players closer to the audience for a song.

But I don´t want new versions of already 300 times played songs... I want to hear songs he has never done before.
