Not been on for a while.The concert Simon is giving this month in England will most likely be recorded and broadcast on BBC Radio 2.Also the usual format for an artist promoting an album via Radio 2 and giving a live performance is that they are interviewed by Ken Bruce to pick "the tracks of my years" which are ten songs personally selected by the artist that mean something to them.These are then broadcast at around 11.40 am each weekday morning for a whole week, 2 songs per day. Simon might well be approached to do this by the BBC.It will be great to see how his selection has changed since he did the "My Top Ten" programe some years ago.Two songs are played with dialogue related to both songs slotted in between. |
