Why should it be ´more experimental´? I wanted it to sound like Paul Simon and it does!

Thanks for posting the link!

Yeh, I thought the same John...It´s a Paul Simon album, not a Brian Eno album!

Looks like they are releasing Father and Daughter as a single in Europe.

But "Father and Daughter" has already been released once as a single. Some years ago (2002 or 2003?). So I don´t see why they would release it again ... but of course, I don´t think it was Warner Bros who released it the last time. Wasn´t it Jive records?

I don´t remember hearing anything about the song Father and daughter in Europe...not even played 1 time over here.

Effectively F+D is a bonus track for many people, because it has already been released before.Certainly it was played alot in the U.K. about three years ago, when issued as part of the soundtrack to, i think , the Wild Thornberries movie.I remember loathing the record at the time, finding the lyric, cloying and overly sentimental, scarcely believing it was even a Paul Simon song.Maybe it was the news it was written for a childrens film that swayed me.
However i do like the new version with its stronger melody line, even though judging by most peoples comments on the new songs, it does seem out of kilter with the overall tone of the new album

I seem to remember that F&D was the record of the week last week on Radio 2.
