 | Where on Pauls site does it say that the babyface actually IS the cover of the album?
It might as weel be just a picture of a baby with the title of the album written on it?! |

 | I wouldn´t call Art a songwriter, he collaborated on his last album with other songwriters, never wrote a whole song by himself. Also on the new album there will be no self-written songs. Hmm, I think Paul´s voice wouldn´t fitt on a Lovers album, to soft IMO. But the guitar playing would be very easy and done in a minute...;-)

| I think it looks scary because they have cut the picture trough the mouth and also on the sides very close.
You can´t see the head, the face does not have any end on the left or right.. so you are not used to that view and find it scary.
But the baby looks total naturally as every other baby.
BTW one eye is a few millimeters above the other eye (not a horizontal line). I only saw that when I tried to let the blue eyes look over the main center home page... it does not work :-) |

 | well, it caught my attention at first as looking a little cheap, but now i really like it. and if you just think about it (like an art piece) there could be a lot of meaning behind the blue water covering the top of the baby´s head. like the fact that the underwater world really is almost a whole other incredible beautiful world that we can visit, but cant live in and there is still a huge amount of mystery to it. im sure that Paul has great meaning behind it.
also, i cannot wait until his performance on SNL which just happens to fall on my birthday!! WHAT A GIFT!! :^) |

| Most don´t think so Bluesmoke.
The ´Surprise´ on the babys nose looks very cute and funny. As the album does not have any essential background (like African music, or Brazil ..or a musical) I think it get´s good attention in stores with that cover - and a big poster.
Pointless for me is the YTO cover, just Paul sitting there.. has no meaning to me. Also the H&B album was so early 80´s like (an unsharp high contrast colorful picture...that were the 80´s)
This cover has something more timeless. |
