| Sorry if I left the chat so suddenly yesterday evening : it´s not that my husband cut the connexion ;-) but I have been thrown away for the 3rd time when I tried to download Hubert´s song :-) and it was impossible to come back ! I hope you have sold your problems Bodo and where can I hear the song ? :-)

I think that the problem is your internet connection which is too slow or? You have a modem, and when you download the song and chat then it doesn´t work right.
Well, I´ll make a box where you can decide how often the chat window(text) will be updated - now the window is updated every 2 seconds. That means every 2 secons it is searching for new messages of other people and sends back some information, even if there are 0 new messages.
I think 3, or 5 seconds also would be enough and the server isn´t so busy then.

| Thanks Bodo : solve and not sold of course ;-)I know my modem is (too) slow and maybe my PC too a bit now : I will try not to do something else (like downloaded a song or a pic) while I chat ! :-))
The plane is in fact from a Tyrolean air company and it´s a Dash 8-400 and it´s finally not just one plane but all the planes of that company that have this name ! Maybe the big boss is a Paul´s fan ! :-)

| It´s good that you say Tyrolean Airways - I flew with that plan from Vienna to Innsbruck 2 years ago...only saw the name for one short moment and was surprised, but later forgot it :-)
Maybe they haven chosen the name because these are turbo-prop machines (and normaly very loud <g>)

| Maybe it also helps if you use Internet Explorer 6 (I think you use 5 now or?)
6 should be a little bit faster, and solves a lot of problems. |

| Yes, I have Explorer 5 and I think it would be faster and easier to change my PC and to take the ADSL too :-) but I have other priorities for the moment ! I hope you will all excuse me if every Wednesday I leave the chat so suddenly ! LOL !
