 | just posted this in an Old topic from Sean about fan instrumentals, but it didn´t show up, so here it is again.
I uploaded 2 recordings I and 2 singers made, Kathy´s Song and paul´s version of surfer girl. We just started a month ago and are doing many other PS songs. |

 | Do you mean that you have a band that play some Paul Simon songs?
I am a songwriter and singer/guitarist, and perform both on my own and as part of a band. I´ve never really played versions of Paul´s songs, because I never feel I do them justice, although I did play a funny version of Paranoia Blues at a gig in Manchester once. I don´t think it would be worth uploading though, as I did not do a great version! I could put a link to some more of my music if people would like me to. Being that Paul is a huge influence on me, some of you might like some of my songs.
I appreciate that this might be mis-understood as advertising however, so I´ll only do it if people would like me to.
Would be nice to hear your instrumentals Mic.

| I used to play in a duo, playing Simon and garfunkel covers. That was really something ´cause I got to be Paul! I am songwriter with a cv equivalent to Tim´s. I´d be delighted to share some of my own material but the same think about advertisement applies here. I am very curious as to how Simon-acolytes write their material!! Just for fun. Please do. It´s not a band, for now it´s just me playing guitar (or keyboard) and 2 singers, playing mostly PS songs for fun. We want to get better and maybe expand later. |

| yes, I even performed on the Doundmix show but I am ashamed of that now. I just Love to fill the gaps of my own repertoire with some of his songs and people love to hear Something So Right or Homeward Bound on a solo guitar. So can I send you some by e-mail. | nice, I can´t remember anyone doing a song of Paul Simon. They never do his songs, the only time I know was someone singing Diamonds on Idols for 10 sec.

| There´s been a Flemish impersonation of Simon and Garfunkel. I know that because we were in the same studio that recorded that show and used their Garfunkel-attire; A very large wig of pinkish-orangeish curls. An didn´t one contestant of the British Idols do a cover of Bridge Over Troubled Water. Heard a big band play the whole album Graceland. Pretty neat. There is a lot people around doing his songs. |
