the score is a multiplication of games, average points and average questions at different weightings. the average points are most important.
the average points are just the total sum of points divided trough the total games you played (unfinished games are calculated at how many questions have been played in that game... so it is really bad if you start a game, dont answer the first question and then you leave the game because then you have 0 points for the whole game)
the average number of questions in game should show you how many different questions have been in the quiz, because the quiz always grows and has more questioons and so becomes harder. at the moment the quiz has 456 questions so now it is harder to play than 2 years ago when it only had 200 questions.
but the only important numberr is the score, it grows when you play more games a little bit, and it grows a lot when you have a lot of points in every game.
example for an unfinished game. you play only 2 questions, for the first one you get 2000 points - and for the second one 0 points because you leave thee game.
then you have average points 1000.
for the whole game then it is calculated with 21 questions, so i calculate
2000 / 2 * 21 = 21.000 points.
that may be good for a bad player, but 21.000 is not very much if you want to become one of the best players. |
