...that AG´s voice is not as good as it was before? When did you see that? I have his last (I think) cd "everything waits to be notice" and I like it.

That´s what I Love about the rain.

I don´t know, but when I watch the Old Friends DVD his voice sounds a lot rougher and coughy to me. You can do a lot with technology, so maybe that´s why it sounds better on his last album. And as far as I know, Art still smokes (cigarettes, I mean), doesn´t he?

Everything Waits To Be Noticed is a great CD, some wonderful music but its important that he´s accompanied by two people who´s voices suit his so well. Can kind of mask the inperfections, and as Miriam says, its easier in a studio when you can redo songs until they sound just right (and fade mistakes!!)

But the live shows took its toll. I saw him in Manchester which was obviously at the latter end of the Tour and he sounded strained, but even on the DVD there are places where he does. Its probably just age, I mean that beautiful falcetto voice can´t last forever!!!

If the cigarettes were going to affect him surely they would have done before now??

That maybe because both Paul and Artie ended up with colds during that tour. Just a week ago my voice went almost completely, and even though it´s back it´s not very strong and can sound very rough at times...deffinately did today when I had words with some of my kids....lol
