Thanks to Ans, we know a lot of events very early, Brandy wrote about this too.

When Simon`s performances in late January/early February (music-school, James Taylor) were announced (for us again by Ans) I thought he has finished work for the new album completely. I was wrong.

How about this event in May? Without a band? Or, with a band, singing Old stuff?

Yes, Ans always has the best news. Thanks ver much.
I will not mention any names but I also was told that Paul planned a small tour this spring (April...)

Thank you both for your appreciation, but it´s you Bodo who gives us the opportunity to make this a very worthy and interesting site with all these great sections where we can make our contributions.

Well, this small tour was supposed to promote the new album but there is no new album yet so I guess also no small tour...

Looked at the official announcement. Many names, but only a few very prominent. Bob Dylan is announced too (and Hugh Masekela from the Graceland tour).

So it is possible this is only another short less than 5-songs-tribut of Simon to this still suffering city.

If he shows up for more and with a full band, I cannot imagine another band/musicians than he played with on the album and will show up to promote it (on a tour or in TV).

PS will likely be the "closer" of the days shows, and therefore his set will begin somewhere between 5:20-5:40 pm and go until 7pm, so it will be almost his entire set, certainly much more than 5 songs.

LOL! Good news for the weekend. If this is true, we will hear his new band (with some Old members) and very likely new stuff. There are certainly other dates (who rehearses several weeks for one show?) too, before and/or after, and the album will be out before or shortly after.
