 | I hope people don´t mind me posting all these threads etc.. (I really should get on with some work, but this is more fun!), but I thought I´d start another one about the collaborator Paul´s working with at the moment.
Eno has done some really interesting things in the past, and it´s a really exciting thought to think how inovative this album could be with 2 great people working on it.
Are there any albums/songs that y´all like that Brian Eno has played on, produced etc..? I´d like to get some more of his stuff, as I usually find it pretty interesting.
Favourites for me are:
Low - David Bowie
Joshua Tree - U2
Fear - John Cale |

 | I really Love Talking Heads, who Brian Eno has worked with extensively. My favourite album of theirs that he worked on is probably "Remain In Light." But I´d recommend any of them really. :-) |

 | Oh yes, must agree! I also like Talking Heads a lot. Do you know which album he produced/played on?
All the best,

 | As solo album I suggest you: Before and after science, my life in the bush of ghosts (with david Byrne) and Music for airports (the begging of ambient music).

 | As far as I know, Eno worked with Talking Heads on "More Songs about Buildings and Food," "Fear of Music," "Remain in Light" and "The Name of this Band is Talking Heads" (a live album). |

 | If my memory serves me right...when Paul was working on Graceland he´d been listening to "Remain In Light" a great deal and really liked the album.

 | oo, that´s interesting, I didn´t know that. Some of Hearts And Bones is a bit 80´s New Wave as well, which shows a bit of a Talking Heads influence. Who´d have thought it ey?! I think one of Paul´s strengths has always been his open-mindedness and willingness to try out different things and different influences.
Can´t wait for the new album! |
