 | I thought the titles for You´re The One were pretty awful but I forgot all about them when they became associated with such good songs. |

 | Well, the source who posted it on the AG site is serious.
Compared to YTO the titles sound very equal to this album.
I still wonder when this album now will be released... it is strange what is going on, since months we haven´t heard anything official. I have doubts now that March 28 will be the release date.. thats only 1 month, they should start at least some advertising on the official paulsimon.com site.
I guess that title list is from someone who is working at t cd-manufacturing factory.. where he had the chance to see the back cover. So the Cd is maybe already in Production, but the release again has been prosponed ??? |

 | They do nothing at the official site! The last time I was there the news was about "The upcoming Old Friends Tour"
Maybe Paul is just a huge procrastinator. I sent a letter to him at the Brill Building about two months ago and I´m thinking "hmmm...maybe he can´t think of what to call this album so he´s spending his time writing me a 10 page letter back" lol...not bloody likely, I know :) |

 | I guess the release date of Pauls upcoming album will be this fall as usual when there was a new album of him: Gracland, ROTS, Capeman and Your the one were all released in the fall... Somethings never change! |

 | With Paul playing at all these events I hope it is to get his name out there so when he releases his new CD people will show intrest. Little does he know how many of us are dying waiting for the CD. |

 | The way I look at all of this is that the later the album, the later the corresponding tour will be. Because as it stands I just started college and I can´t travel too far to see him. I missed Art in Toronto last week because of school..Grrr |

 | "Paul Simon" came out in January, "There goes rhymin` Simon" in May; "One-trick pony" and "Graceland" in August.
In the 70`s and 80`s, a single had to be released some weeks before the album, in the 80`s and 90`s also a video was required, though Simon is not a fan of videos.
All this is not sure meanwhile - Simon has no interest in the single charts anymore. And the music world is not eagerly waiting for his work.
I heard the last albums of Paul Mccartney (surprising for me) and Neil Young - they were really not dissapointing but still went not gold until now. Somehow they both did what could be expected. Stevie Wonder too, though his album went Platinum, for me the weakest of them.
I hope Simon won`t do what could be expected. "Old" was the only song of YTO that sounded familiar.

 | I´m with you on that, Nikki! And since I travel around a lot there´s always the possibility I´ll miss his concert by two days or some small time period like that.
But I will do everything in my power to see a Paul Simon or Edie Brickell concert as soon as they happen! |

 | I agree, I like the fact the Paul Simon often does things that I am not expecting. I don´t always like everything he does (at first, though I often come round once I ´get it,´ much like my enjoyment of Bowie albums, which takes time to nurture and grow and are all the better for it). The fact the album is (allegedly) called Surprise makes me tingle with antisipation that it might be completely different from what he´s done before. I Love YTO and I love that, despite the amount of material he has already released, he is brave enough to try new things with his voice and his music. Pigs Sheep and Wolves sounds like he´s singing it drunk at times! ;-)
Oh, I can´t wait for the album now - please can someone invent a tardis so I can go forward in time to whenever it comes out?! ;-)

 | I am dying to see Paul live!
This sounds like it may be another album that takes a few listens to "get".
When I heard Pigs Sheep and Wolves it made me wonder if he had started smoking pot again :) |

 | Someone knows if PS came to Spain with a Tour. I think I will have to move to Paris or England to see the "Surprise" |
