Garfunkel says he and Simon parted on good terms when the Old Friends reunion tour came to the end of the road in 2004, but there was no thought to getting back together on a full-time basis.

"He´ll continue to try to be a Paul Simon music maker, unencumbered with the pleasure and difficulty of having a partner. And I´m pretty much the same.

"I´ll work with Paul if the opportunity comes up. But I´ll be happy to continue singing solo."

He´s been smoking weed for a pretty long time...sometimes I worry about his short-term memory :)

"The rare exception might be Art Garfunkel, whose high tenor seems to have stilled the hands of time."

"He´ll continue to try"

I think the word "try" was a little unnecessary.
