 | Happy christmas to you, what don´t you like about Cars Are Cars? I think its lively some very true statements about the domination of cars in our society and that was in the early 80´s. Needs to be updated for SUVs |

For the longest time I didn´t really like Sparrow but I never listened to it all that much and when I did I realized I liked it so I don´t know, i´m kinda wierd that way :) |

Mine would be Pigs, Sheeps and Wolves. I understand the political meanings behind it, but I don´t think it´s one of his better songs. Also The Teacher. I guess it´s just not my cup of tea. |

I also don`t like "Cars Are Cars", the musical content is low. (Roy Halee said that too).
The same for "Pigs, sheep and wolves". And "Armistice day".
BUT WHAT REALLY COUNTS: WEAK SONGS ARE VERY RARE IN SIMONS WORK, CONTRARY TO OTHERS!!!! |

 | UUUH, The Teacher is nearly the best song on YTO.
Have you seen him performing this song live? It´s outstanding, wonderful music... you could argue that his singin is not that good on that song, but it´s how this song has to be sung.
I find Pig sheep and wolves very funny, it is an easy song thats true... it sounds like one of these Old (now I don´t know the word for Märchen...Cinderella Story#s, or Grimms Books). I could imagine Paul singin a song like that to his children (because you can see it as an political statement, or trough a childs ears it sounds just like as a ..Fabel?) |

 | i agree that The Teacher is a really beautiful piece of music but despite that I don´t know why I don´t like it all that much.
For me That´s Where I Belong would be the best on YTO. And I Love Pig Sheeps and Wolves! I think it´s very clever, and it´s so unlike any of his songs it brings out his voice in a completely different way. I love the where did he go part, and how he goes crazy with one of the let´s get him parts.
as for Cars Are Cars, i like the melody of the non-´cars are cars´ verses, if you know what i mean. but i probably don´t like the rest. |
