 | If I remember Betty Blue correctly, the male character was at the wrong of a steel comb held by the crazy female character, wouldn´t like that to happen to our Paul!! |

 | This topic "Grrr..." is a good example for flexible minds wandering like Paul Simons!
From OTP to ebay, Hot, Love, French films, CP 91, DVD, Laser Disc etc.
CP 91 was released as Laser disc, but I guess, converting would bring no better result than buying the official VHS-tape.

 | Well, the transfer onto DVD from Laserdisc brings some advantages.
They DVD always has the same quality, also after playing it 20 times - or after 10 years.
The sound quality is better, VHS tapes ofen have a lot of white noise (especially when they get older), and you can copy them very easy and fast. Also it is much easier to navigate on a DVd to another song (well nearly impossible on a VHS tape) |

 | I was wondering, what is it that exactly makes One Trick Pony rated R? I am debating buying the movie and would like to know the maturitiy of its content before i do so. |

 | One Trick Pony is rated R?
Is there a different rating system in the US? cos here R means 18+ only... |

 | If you mean the contents besides the music I think it is rather poor.
1.)The music industry is only interested in money. The music suffers, the music business thrives.
2.)There are people, who once had a hit, still living (=not dead because of their unhealthy style of living) and want to make music professionally.
3.) their marriages are difficult because they are on the road most of the time and their woman want them to have grown up. The kid(s), loved by both, suffer from that. But from time to time, she cooks a meal...
4.) some planes don`t come in time and time-scedules not always work.
If the story of the Capeman was too heavy for a musical, this is not enough and too boring for a movie.

 | I just want to say, that I bought OTP from ebay by myself just before Christmas. From Margarita´s video store. It´s great... I believe, that´s not the same copy... Because this item has ended. It is used copy, but it´s in great condition. And I can recommend ebay...
But!!! Be careful on your email! I recently received a faked one with faked form, concerning my personal information and detailed info about my bank account.. After two days I got email from real ebay with a serious warning and I had to change my password... So be careful. |

 | I guess R means RARE in that case ;-)
But to be serious, it was 1980 when this movie was released, and they are taking drugs in that movie, so maybe thats the reason why it is rated R. |

 | Well, in the States, as soon as a woman shows her breast, a man or a woman their buttocks, as soon as they smoke a joint and things like that, it´s rated R for sure ! :-) |
