 | This is a very interesting thread indeed. The first three songs that come to mind are:
Senorita with a necklace of tears ; Pigs, sheep and wolves ; How The Heart Approaches What It Yearns.
But I´m gonna cheat too and slip the following songs in:
Think too much (why not A & B?)
and quite a few from the Capeman too, Bernadette definitely ; Sunday afternoon ; Can I forgive him?
I could go on indefinitely. How much harder will it be for us to put Pauls setlist together after he publishes his new album?

 | the cool cool river is definitely a song that´s better live than on the studio recordings. when it´s live, it´s one of my favourites, and that´s the way i first heard it. and then when i heard it on rots, it was really taken aback and didn´t like it very much at all |

 | yeah, the version on Concert In The Park is really great, especially the instrumental part at the end. it´s a real climax live. it´s just like with hurricane eye, everytime i listen to the cd-version i miss the new ending. |

 | It is the same for me: the concert version of Hurricane eye is a killer...far better than the CD version... |

 | My thoughts:
Another Graceland gem: All Around The World
- also, St. Judy´s Comet
- I would also Love to hear Take Me To The Mardi Gras (though maybe too painful after Katrina)
(- speaking of New Orleans songs, I thought "THat was your mother" was a bigger Surprise than "One Man´s Ceiling.")
-- I don´t know if he can sing it like he used to, but I love "Silent Eyes" from Still Crazy..
- And just for fun, how about "A Simple Delusitory Phillipic..."
-- And throw "Duncan" in there for good measure. |
