and did paul ever meet elvis?
thats one meeting i would have loved to of seen.

 | In a biography of Simon and Garfunkel, (The name of the author escapes me right now, but she was, British and the color of the cover was gold) she talked about Paul´s one and only meeting with his boyhood idol. She quoted Paul as saying, "It was a very learning and hollow experience." In other words, it wasn´t what he expected because by the time he met Elvis, Elvis was already deep into drugs and on the way out. Paul will always Love Elvis´s music, but I don´t think he respects the man too much. |
