 | The song most used as background music on TV category "beautiful" (sunsets, sunrises, aerial views etc.) is surely "Shine on you crazy diamond" by Pink Floyd. Next probably Rod Stewart`s "Sailing".
For headlines Paul Simon is used very often with his songs "The Sound of Silence", "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "Slip slidin`away", "The Boy In The Bubble", sometimes the title changed a little bit.
His most used title is surely "Still Crazy After All These Years", a great invention.
One can also make good similar sounding versions out of it. "Still crazy after all these beers" etc.
Or "Still lazy after all these years". Can you imagine, that Kate Bush now released her first album since 1993? She even topped Simon with his 10 years gap between "The rhythm..." and "YTO" as Pop/Rock-albums.
But Simon won`t care, he is not eager to break records. He makes records. Well, I hope so... |
