 | I don't know whether Edie was forced or not, but from the interviews I have seen she does seem happier working with Steve Martin than being along with her husband. And I cna respect that although I'm not a great fan of her writing or music. :). |

 | Edie usually seems happy wherever she is ! Of course she enjoyed collaborating with Steve writing their musical and doing the interviews promoting it. There is a beautiful photo of Edie and Paul at the after party for Bright Star 26 Mar 2016. They looked so happy together. And they certainly love performing together, usually for benefit shows.though Paul did make a few surprise appearances when Steve and Edie were touring. She certainly looked happy here when they performed at the Gershwin Award tribute to Willie Nelson.
