 | There have been a couple of humorous comments about Garfunkel here lately, and in the "Paul´s toupee" thread people are asking whether Artie got a raw deal from Paul. So I have uploaded to the Excessive Fans section a 1991 interview in which Artie speaks with real pain (including a tearful break in his voice) about how he got kicked off Hearts & Bones. Artie comes across as a likeable sap; Paul comes across as the man faced with the choice between being a bastard or getting dragged down by the sap. Making the choice clearly didn´t cause Paul much sleep loss.
I´ve put the interview in the "Various live performances" section because I couldn´t find anywhere better to put it. It comes from a set of about 6 hours of interviews with Paul & Artie which I found recently on ebay. |

 | Rosemary,
Is there any hope that we could hear the rest of this interview?
I have searched and searched for this broadcast...how did you find it? Does it have a name?
Any help is appreciated. :) |

 | I don´t really think it would be possible to post the rest of the series here because it´s 6 BBC radio broadcasts and each of them is an hour long. There would be problems with torrenting it too because it includes a lot of officially released music (as well as a few bits that are not released). The copy I own claims that the broadcasts were called "Paul Simon Songbook" but it may also be known as "Paul Simon: Born At The Right Time". If there is any interest in hearing any more of the interviews, I can post some more extracts - I will see if I can find a nice extract of Paul chatting about his early times in London. |

 | That would be very nice to hear Paul talking about his early happy times in London.
