 | Just curious since we get the CMA awards show with no problem here, how do Europeans feel about "Country Music"? I know that Paul is a big fan,especially of Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard. I myself like some of it, but the real hick-redneck stuff,I can do without. |

| I am a member of a country club :-)
I even can dance some line-dances (I´ve learned it 3 years ago but stopped later)
Here are some pictures from the Country Fort in Tyrol where this country club has it´s home
In our country there exist around 20 country clubs / line-dance groups. Every year there is a line-dance contest. There is also a contest for new-bands and solo artists every year (ACMF Austrian Country Music forderation)

| That is amazing! Here I am thinking that country music is an isolated American thing! I like the bars there better than here, especially with the beautiful scenery I saw in the link you gave.
I like line dancing too. I have been doing it for quite a few years now. I even taught the kid´s to do it.Every time they hear Garth Brooks, or Toby Keith, they go nuts!

| You are all welcome to our fan meeting...if you can speak French or at least know how to dance line dances ! ;-)
To be more serious : at the French forum, we have a very friendly and nice "community" and we have planned to meet and so, we have organized a kind of "fans meeting" during a 3 days week-end, in France, in the Alps, at the end of May. |
