 | Yes Paul Simon is unsecure about his voice and sometimes his intonation is really not perfect.
But I agree with Brandy, that Simon alone with his guitar means the biggest thrill to me.
Both live-versions of "American Tune" on Live Rhymin` (very sad and touching) and Greatest Hits etc. (more dramatic and touching)are better than the (too sweet) original, coproduced by Paul Samwell-Smith (Producer of Cat Stevens, who also was too sweet).
Wished I could have seen one of his 1984-concerts. The bootlegs are quite poor.
