I just listened to a full-length clip of a song called "Forever and After" from 1964. I had never heard it before, and I´m wondering about it. It´s very pretty, so why wasn´t it ever on a S&G album, or at least the Paul Simon Songbook? Does anyone know if Paul wrote this or not?

I´m pretty sure Paul wrote it, and yes it is a really pretty song.

Paul wrote it under the name Jerry Landis.

Did he really write it as Jerry Landis? In 1964 he was using his real name, wasn´t he? And it sounds far too folksy to have been a true Jerry Landis song, as "Jerry Landis" was mostly Paul´s attempts at teen pop work.

(It can be found at http://www.thedreamerofmusic.com under "multimedia", by the way, for those who want to hear it.)

In early 1964 he had made not one but TWO good moves by abandoning the name True Taylor (wimpish or what?) and also Tico (sounds like the a performing dog!). But yes, he was still sometimes passing himself off as Jerry Landis or - much more sexily, in my opinion - "Paul Kane"...

By the way, does anyone know how I can upload a picture of myself to the fan database? I try, but I keep getting a message that says "Couldn´t copy image". I´m too dumb to work out what I´m doing wrong.
