 | can anyone help me on the tuning for ´cabt help but wonder where im bound´ for the queens college ´64 recording? (you can find it on the excessive page) I know the chords, but cant figure out the tuning he uses there... |

 | Yes, Simon sometimes drops down a semi-tone but rarely, If ever, uses alternative tuning as Joni Mitchell does...eg DADGAD.I like Paxton´s own version of Can´t help wonder though.Plus, it is always best to find the key that suits your own voice. |

 | As far as I understood, the idea of different tuning is, that it is easier to play some tricky chords (bar chords for example) |

 | DADGAD is used by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Leo Kottke, Richard Thompson, Martin Carthy etc.The Old blues players used to tune to an open chord, so used in the playing of slide guitar. |
