I wonder, how many cd´s has paul sold? I read somewhere that Graceland sold over 12 million copies, but am not sure if that is correct. I am curious as to what his total sales figures are. Any one knows about that??

 | At first one has to remember that most copies of sold records are still those on Vinyl. Simon (and Garfunkel) are amongst those lucky acts who sold their work first on this meanwhile Old medium, then oftenly again on CD.
You can find out the numbers of sold records in the US at "Billboard" via Google.
Estimated totals worldwide (by me):
Not much less than 100 million copies of Simon and Garfunkel-albums. (More than 40 millions in the US are confirmed).
About 30 to 40 million Simon-albums. (more than 15 millions in the US are confirmed).
"Graceland" has sold between 5 to 6 million copies in the US and about 14 millions worldwide.
There are others with more sales.
But considering the number of released songs Simon is in the group of the all-time best (where he belongs, doesn`t he?) |
