If it´s the DeMarco brothers sketch that you´re talking about (from 2000), I wouldn´t judge whether or not Paul is funny by it. It´s a good sketch, but it´s mostly Chris Kattan and Chris Parnell that are doing the funny stuff.

Oh yes, sorry I just reread that post. Try paulsimon.com for his turkey monologue. The only other sketch I´ve seen online with Paul in it is the one I previously explain ;)

Sorry, I´m not much help.

Jim, go to http://www.heartsandbones.it

The only problem is, from what I remember, the file has no sound

And the site´s in italian, but you can easily guess which links to click on. Go to MP3 and video, then video, and scroll down and you´ll see paul with his turkey costume. The site has some other really great videos too.

There are several sketches, of course the Turkey outfit is the most popular.

But even more funny I think is the baseball-game, where he was fighting (and winning) against a then famous player (Connie Hawkins), over two meters high.

Asked before, what his strategy will be, Simon said: "The difference in height might be a factor in this game, so I will rely on my strenghts...basically singing and songwriting".

Yes thank you, of course it`s Basketball and from 1975.

Here in Europe Basketball is not very popular and Baseball totally unknown. Here soccer is the game.

By the way, I think you know, that Paul Simon, Mick Jagger, Rick Wakeman (Yes) and Peter Frampton were amongst the owners of a then quite important Soccer-club, the Philadelphia Furies, in the late seventies?

But soccer did not make it in the US, although a world championship took place there. So Simon had to write off his money...

There was another sketch, not seen it myself, where Paul arrives at an expensive restarount with a lady friend, and they´ll only allow him in if he reaches a certain hight and he has to stand by this measuring stick, which of course is taller than Paul.

By the way, what is this SNL DVD with Paul´s sketches on?

Hugs

Me

You can buy it for 30 Euros at JPC, Germany. Running time 407 minutes, 57 songs, Simon and Garfunkel with The Boxer (not so great in my eyes) and Simon with Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes, Playback, only singing is live. Probably some sketches, because 407 minutes is too much for 57 songs.
