 | Not sure if you are aware of this, but there is a wonderful very early Simon and Garfunkel performance of Scarborough Fair on a new Andy Williams DVD Moon River and Me. Andy joins Paul and Art for a magical version of this song, originally featured on the Andy Williams Show. I´d guess by Paul´s haircut this is from late 1966, around the release of the Parsley Sage album. The three voices blend beautifully, with Paul and Art interjecting sections of the ´Side Of A Hill" counter-melody, rarely heard in live performance. Check it out! |
