Anyone agree that voices of Old people on Bookends should never have been put on the album....it is the best album of the lot.....but with this one flaw?

I actually like it, but not to hear over and over and over again.

Also don`t like silent night/seven o`clock news (on Parsley sage...) - typical idea of this time, not very inventive...

Why don´t you write about what you like?I agree, the song isn´t any break, but still it is moving, I think. And Paul Simon grew into a great poet and his songs are not as naive as before, but sometimes I Love hearing the Old ones, because they are so clear...because they are

i really like Silent Night/Seven O Clock News-sure it isn´t the most inventive piece but it doed get a message through, much better than more ´obvious´ songs of the time-the song has some areas of subtlety
