 | Well I checked the AG forums and this is the exact quote: "According to Eddie Simon (Paul`s brother)the album is not finished yet.Maybe at the end of 2005 but more probably 2006." |

 | The last thing that i wanted to hear would have been: "according to Eddie, S&G will released their new album in late 2005"...so Paul, take your time, i prefer that and i´m very patient... |

 | "Nothing but good news! There is a frog in South-America."
He does the best wheather-forecast. Maybe we should ask him!
But if we find him, there is a new Paul-Simon-album, but no record-store in the jungle... |

 | Well, maybe just one more rumour. And why is Paul so silent ? We have always "news" about this new album from other persons (musicians, now Eddie) ? Can´t a journalist go and interview him ? Any volunteer here ? :-) |

 | So the new album will have 25 songs I guess...because every 3 months we hear that they have finished another 2 songs.
Well... I really wonder what takes so much time, he has started writting on that album in spring 2002 or earlier (and on that tour Bakithi said they have finished 3 songs before)... so whats going on there? |

 | The only Paul-Simon-album I can remember which was widely talked about before was "The rhythm`of the saints."
It was announced, but Simon withdrew it and went into the studio again...
But there also was a Simon and Garfunkel-album which later became a Paul-Simon-album. Maybe we can get it this way.
Let`s convince Madonna, to release a Paul-Simon-album. Or Garfunkel? No,no... |

 | I´m secretly hoping this isn´t true, I want a new album *much* sooner. Buuuut I´m willing to be patient if that means a better album w/ more songs. |

 | How about this one?
New York times, 4/30/2005:
"Heart for Homeless"
"New York singer Paul Simon helds a contest to find the best album cover done by homeless children.
For one year, until 30.th of April 2006, New Yorks homeless children can paint or plan album covers for Simon`s next album.
A jury, with "painting Rock-stars" in it (Barbra Streisand and Joni Mitchell already confirmed) then will find the best as cover for Simon`s album.
The singer, who already wrote a song called "Homeless", is involved in medical help for those children since many years. The winning child will accompany him on the tour to promote the album in spring 2007.
And Simon will donate a considerable amount too."
