 | I Love this song, but everytime I hear it, I can´t get it out of my head. I was wondering if you guys would like to share with everyone which song of S&G remains with you the most. Great site !!! |

 | Well, I´m often Feelon´ groovy and think about the Leaves That Are Green. Mostly, however, I hum the melody of Kathy´s Song. |

 | In South America they sing a prayer that goes to the tune of "Sound of Silence" so that was always in my head there.
But I´m so over Simon & Garfunkel right now. I can´t bring myself to listen to them. I´ll take Simon solo stuff any day. And his songs are always stuck in my head. |

 | The sound of silence, Mrs. Robinson and Bridge Over Troubled Water are surely Simon`s Top three smashes - thew would appear in any list of the Top 100 songs of all time, however you would do the investigation.
Scarborough fair is not Simons invention. But in the version of S&G it was played more than 5 million times in the US alone on radio stations, making it No 4. Seems, many people like it.
I like "Homeward Bound". Also as tribute to Liverpool, which is of course the town of the Beatles, but they like Simon too and put a plaque for this song at Widnes railway station, were it was written according to rumours.
But of course Simon is not able to write a whole song when waiting for a train.
It would have to be a very "Slow train coming" (Copyright Bob Dylan), a "Train In The Distance".
The family were he stayed then told, he was working on a song which eventually became Homeward Bound, but surely long after the slow train was in the distance again! |

 | I find the odd poignant line is always stuck in my head, usually an autobiographical one. The way the atmosphere changes when he sings, "Kathy I´m lost, I said, though I knew she was sleeping" or the passion in his voice, singing "when a stranger came up and asked me...if I´d heard John Lennon had died". Very few have the power to do that I find, only really Paul and maybe Ray Davies |

 | some say iam crazy, thats my Ace In The Hole, that I knew I was crazy and never lost my self control.
Being crazy seems to feature a lot in Pauls songs doesn´t it. |
