 | Thats right.
This poor boy lost 3/4 of his money to his ex-wifes! You don´t believe me?
Just calculate.
60.000 Million sold S&G and PS albums brought him an income of 260 Million $
His first wife Peggy took 50%, so only 130 Million Dollars left, Carrie took the next 50%.
65 Million dollar left for Paul. Then he decided to create B´ways biggest flop and lost another 3 Million $
Makes 62 millions.
Now on the last S&G reunion tour this bloody blond singer said he wants 50% !!! (of the income..puh ok)
So after taxes in 2003/2004 Paul had an income of 13 Million Dollars, makes
75 Millions now.
The 280.756,34 came from his wifes last album. He was paid because of the good promotion he made for it.
And think about it: the 2 houses and 2 appartements also belong to his wife, because they have 3 children it´s her right to get them (1 for her, 1 for every child)
We should hope that they never get divorced... that would be a financial desaster for Paul, and the next album has to be produced in a cheap japanese rent-a-studio building, where he is allowed to record between 4 and 5 in the morning. |

 | "with all the meanings of a mariage contract" : I´m sure each time he got married, he took precautions... :-)
But even if he has to record in a cheap Japanese studio, I know he is able to make us something terribly great ! :-) |

 | And don´t forget, all of his solo tours have been a finacial desaster until Graceland.
And Graceland? Well he had to pay most of it to Miriam Makeba, LBM and Hugh Masekela... and the rest was just enough to pay back the credits for his earlier tours.
His 1991 tour brought much more money, but - as usually - Paul decided to flew in a band of 30 drummers for just 1 concert to NY. Desaster.
(financial)
What we don´t know is that he helped out Bill Clinton in 1992 to win the elections - he paid all of the income from the "Born At The Right Time tour" to a special group named "The truth behind the truth". This unarmed group break up after gulf war I and they spend all of their money to Bill Clintons run for the president´s seat. Paul was invited to sing on Al Gore´s birthday party for that.

 | He should at least have one painting by Rene Magritte! Why else writing about him? But probably it is a false one. Paul is so naive. Magritte once stated, of his 800 paintings he did, 1.700 are in the US.
And recently he was sued by the 17.th Bach-family-generation for stealing American Tune.
And by the Mafia in Peru for stealing El Condor Pasa.
And by South Africans, Brasilians and the Kodak-family.
He was very right stating "I am just a poor boy"...and the whole world is against me.
We will soon see him singing in Las Vegas and deliver Celine Dion.
Or, if he is too arrogant to do so, he will hock his rings (and find out, they are all false).

 | Speaking of Paul´s possession, it seems you forgot to mention the following:
"...some real estate here in my bag..."
"...I got a Nikon camera..."
"...I have my books and my poetry..."
"...a cambric shirt, an acre of land..." (offered to him by some fan)
"...a pack of cigarettes and Mrs Wagner´s pies..."
"...a pocketful of mumbles, such are promises..." (that he traded for his resistance, remember?)
"...some pictures in my pocket and a lot of time to kill..."
"...my Robert Frost..."
"...a flashlight..." (used to creep into young girl´s tents at night... We won´t comment...)
"...a good time..."
"...a ticket for my destination..."
"...a "J"..." (although he doesn´t own it anymore since he stepped outside to smoke it...)
"...the weather report..." (used to gather all the news he needs...)
"...twenty-five dollars and pieces of silver..."
And, of course,
"...a vision..." (that was planted in his brain, and still remains, for us all to enjoy...)
